Recently, in his continuing work for Catch22, Will met a group of young people from Barking & Dagenham’s Gascoigne Estate who are making a positive contribution to their community.
Will is a proud patron of Catch22, the charity for young people that is behind many of the schemes making a difference in the area. These include the Community Space Challenge, a scheme that transforms local environments through gardening or renovation through the work of young people, and the increased availability of sports, workshops and visits outside of the area to disadvantaged adolescents.
Abi Goodwin, Service Manager at Catch22 in Barking & Dagenham says: “It was fantastic to have Will visit our service. We know this service works and makes a real difference to the futures of these young people. He was brilliant with each young person and had a genuine interest in their lives. They were literally buzzing when he left!”
Seems like Will has done a good job! If you want to get involved in Catch22, visit: www.catch-22.org.uk/
